Hellas Verona are trying to sign German-Nigerian defender Felix Uduokhai, born in 1997, from Besiktas to strengthen their defence. The Serie A club has contacted the Turkish side, which acquired the player permanently from Augsburg last summer for 5 million euros following a loan spell. There is currently a difference of 1 million euros between Besiktas's asking price and Verona's offer. The main point in the negotiations concerns the inclusion of a buyout clause and whether it would be an option or an obligation. Uduokhai's contract with the Turkish club runs until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €5.00m. He has made 7 appearances in the Süper Lig this season. FC Union Berlin has also been linked with the player.
