Elche, a Spanish football club, has expressed interest in signing the 23-year-old Argentinian winger Exequiel Zeballos, who is currently contracted with Boca Juniors until the end of 2026. Despite this interest, Boca Juniors has yet to receive a formal offer from Elche. Previously, Boca Juniors had set a transfer fee of approximately 9 million dollars for Zeballos's complete transfer, which halted negotiations with another club. As for Elche, formal talks have not commenced, but Boca Juniors is reportedly seeking around 6 million dollars for 50% of the player's rights. These financial demands may exceed Elche's budgetary limits, especially since the asking price significantly surpasses the player's €4.50m valuation as per Transfermarkt. Alongside Elche, other clubs that have been associated with Zeballos recently include Bologna, Necaxa, and Sevilla.
