20-year-old French goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen visited Newcastle United's facilities two weeks ago and has given his agreement in principle to join the club. He would compete with the club's number one goalkeeper upon joining. Newcastle United are currently in talks with Reims to finalize a deal, which is understood to be for a fixed fee of €20 million plus bonuses. Jaouen, who holds both French and German nationality, joined Reims in July 2024 and has a contract with the club until 2029. The France U21 international has a current market value of €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
