Spanish goalkeeper Eric Puerto, aged 23, has joined FC Penafiel on loan from Deportivo da Corunha until the end of the current season. Puerto, who has experience in the higher tiers of Spanish football, moved to Deportivo during the winter of 2024. He spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Marbella in Spain before this latest move, and will be an option for the team coached by José Manuel Aira. His contract with parent club Deportivo A Coruña is set to expire on June 30, 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €200k.
