Emre Mor Transfer from Fenerbahçe to Gençlerbirliği

According to Fanatik, Emre Mor is expected to depart from Fenerbahçe during the winter transfer window as he is not part of the club's plans. Gençlerbirliği is involved regarding the player and a meeting will be held this week. The report states that the Başkent club is considered highly likely to reach an agreement with Emre Mor. Emre Mor has also been linked with Kocaelispor.

Fanatik reports that while Volkan Demirel was managing Gençlerbirliği, he nearly reached an agreement to bring his former player Emre Mor to the team. However, the transfer did not proceed due to the presidential election at the Ankara club and the resignation of coach Demirel.

Gençlerbirliği Technical Director Volkan Demirel confirmed their interest in Emre Mor. In response to club president Mehmet Kaya having mentioned Emre Mor's name, Demirel stated that Emre is one of the possible alternatives, but the players he really wants are others. He added that if Emre were to join, it would be acceptable as he is a Turkish player and they would like to acquire him, but he wants to acquire two good foreign players for certain positions.

Gençlerbirliği manager Volkan Demirel wants to sign 28-year-old Turkish international winger Emre Mor, whom he previously managed at Karagümrük. Gençlerbirliği plans to approach Fenerbahçe during the winter transfer window for the player, who is expected to leave mid-season as he is not part of manager Tedesco's plans. Volkan Demirel was the first to show interest and is continuing his efforts to complete the signing. Emre Mor, who has 15 caps for his country, is reported to be receptive to the offer, though other Anatolian clubs from the Süper Lig are also interested in him. His contract with Fenerbahçe is valid until June 2026, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €1.00m.
