Ligue 1 club Rennes was interested in Emmanuel Fernandez and considered him an option earlier this summer, but did not make a move.

Emmanuel Fernandez, who joined Rangers last summer, is reportedly of interest to Stade Rennes. It is also said that the League One side Peterborough United holds a large sell-on clause for the player. Furthermore, there have been suggestions that Rangers could look to sell Fernandez for £30m.

According to Ouest-France, Stade Rennais is working on potentially signing Emmanuel Fernandez, who plays for Glasgow Rangers. The Nigerian international played in 28 matches and scored 6 goals across all competitions this season, and his valuation is around 15-20 million euros.

It is reported that Stade Rennes have added Emmanuel Fernandez, a 24-year-old player from Rangers, to their list of summer targets. Feyenoord, Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be monitoring the defender, who is on a three-player shortlist for the French club. Fernandez moved to Rangers from Peterborough last summer for a fee of around £3.5m and has four years left on his contract.
