Widzew is pursuing 25-year-old Danish midfielder Emil Kornvig from the Norwegian club Brann, with the transfer expected to cost a minimum of 3 million euros. This potential move is part of the club's spending during the current winter transfer window, in which they have already spent 7.4 million euros. Kornvig joined Brann in February 2024 and is under contract until the end of 2027. He has a current Transfermarkt market value of €3.50m and has been capped twice for the Denmark U20 team, scoring one goal.
