Le Havre has been in discussions with Galatasaray for several days to arrange a loan for right-back Elias Jelert. The 23-year-old Danish international, who has three caps, is a long-standing target for the French club. Jelert, who is under contract with Galatasaray until 2029, joined the Turkish team from Copenhagen in the summer of 2024 for a transfer fee estimated at €9 million. Last season, he was on loan at Southampton, where he made 11 appearances in all competitions. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.00m. Polish club Górnik Zabrze has also been recently linked with the player.
