Monique Vilela of TMC Radio has reported that Athletico Paranaense will soon terminate the loan contract of Elan Ricardo. Ricardo had been loaned to the club at the start of the season to get more playing time.

Elan Ricardo, a 21-year-old Colombian midfielder currently playing for Beşiktaş, is on the verge of joining Athletico-PR on a one-season loan, which will be effective until 2026. RTI Esporte reported that the loan deal includes an option for purchase priced at 5 million Euros. It was noted that Athletico-PR will assume responsibility for the full salary of the young player. Previously, Beşiktaş had acquired him from La Equidad in June 2024 for a fee of 3 million Euros. This transfer aligns with Beşiktaş's strategy to manage players who do not feature in their future plans. With the negotiations concluded, Ricardo is set to leave the club he joined only last season. His contract with Beşiktaş is set to run until 2029, and his market value is currently valued at €2.20 million by Transfermarkt.
