RB Leipzig is arranging a loan for French centre-back El Chadaille Bitshiabu, 21, to its sister club RB Salzburg after a previous transfer to RC Lens was not completed. Salzburg may be seeking a defender because, according to FT's information, German U21 international Hendry Blank is attracting interest from Eintracht Braunschweig. Bitshiabu is considered a similar replacement as he is also a left-footed centre-back. The French U20 international joined Leipzig from PSG in July 2023 for a reported €15 million, and his current contract is valid until 2029. He has a current Transfermarkt market value of €18.00m and has also recently been linked with Galatasaray.
