Red Bull Salzburg made a €10 million offer for Torino's young Swedish-Gambian winger, Alieu Njie, but face increasing competition for the player. Crystal Palace has submitted a new proposal that could reach almost €26 million including bonuses, though some of the add-ons are not considered easy to achieve. Anderlecht had also previously tried to sign the 21-year-old but their offer did not reach the €10 million mark. Several Serie A clubs are also interested in Njie. It is reported that Torino prefers to sell him rather than Alessio Cacciamani, who is wanted by AS Roma. Njie, who has been capped six times for the Sweden U21 national team, joined Torino in July 2024 and has a contract until 2029. His current Transfermarkt market value is €3.00m. Earlier in the summer of 2026, Torino's asking price was reported as €15 million, and they rejected bids from both Crystal Palace and Anderlecht. Palace's offer was €10 million plus add-ons, while Anderlecht's was valued at €7 million plus €2 million in bonuses.
