Portuguese club Benfica has expressed interest in Armenian national team and Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, as reported by Armenie Football on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter). Besides Benfica, other Portuguese clubs, including Porto and Sporting, are also keen on Spertsyan. Armenie Football indicated that Porto has already started negotiations with the player's representatives. Spertsyan had a remarkable season with Krasnodar, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists in 35 appearances, and he is under contract with the Russian club until the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €20 million.
