According to Tuttomercato, Lazio is interested in signing Edon Zhegrova to replace Matteo Cancellieri. The club was preparing an offer for a paid loan with an option to buy, which featured a loan fee of 1-2 million euros and a higher option to buy, aiming to meet the 15 million euro valuation Juventus has for Zhegrova. However, the potential transfer has been complicated by an injury to Kenan Yildiz. This injury could keep him out for approximately three months, making Juventus less inclined to allow Zhegrova to leave. The situation is dependent on Cancellieri's future and the decision made by Juventus.

Edon Zhegrova, a 27-year-old Juventus attacking winger and Kosovo international, has reportedly been offered to Lazio near the end of the transfer market. While he is an option for the capital club, Lazio must first create a vacancy in their attack before pursuing the possibility. The negotiation is not advanced; at present, the player has only been proposed. The situation is dependent on Matteo Cancellieri's potential departure. Several clubs have shown interest in Cancellieri, who could leave in the final days of the window, and his sale is considered a possibility. This would be a determining factor for whether the pursuit of Zhegrova becomes more concrete, because Lazio would then require a replacement. Zhegrova has 46 caps for Kosovo. He joined Juventus in September 2025 and his contract with the club is valid until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €10.00m. He has previously been linked with clubs that include Everton and Fiorentina.
