A report by Kicker indicates that Swiss central midfielder Edimilson Fernandes has caught the interest of Aris. The Greek club has reportedly sought permission from Mainz, who owns his rights, to enter into negotiations with the 29-year-old player. Although Aris is currently in discussions with Fernandes, an agreement has yet to be finalized. In adherence to protocol, the Thessaloniki club has approached Mainz to obtain permission to contact the player. Should they secure an agreement with Fernandes, an official offer to Mainz is expected to follow. Ruben Reyes, the Spanish technical director of Aris, is said to be keen on Fernandes due to his versatility and capability to play in multiple positions.
