Ferencváros and AD Ceuta both announced that Edgar Szevikjan would join AD Ceuta on loan until the end of the season. Szevikjan had returned to Ferencváros in the summer and appeared in one league match and one Europa League qualifier. This is his third loan since joining Ferencváros in January 2024.

According to the Israeli site sport5.co.il, Hapoel Petah-Tikva would acquire Edgar Szevikjan. The player has not been included in the squad for the last three matches under coach Borbély Balázs. Szevikjan most recently played on loan in Russia.

Varazdat Harojan, his compatriot and a player for Kazincbarcika, stated that Szevikjan does not get enough playing time at Ferencváros and it would be beneficial for him to leave the club on loan. Harojan specifically mentioned that if Szevikjan had the opportunity to play on loan in the Russian top division, he should consider it. The Ferencváros head coach told Szevikjan he trusts him and wants him to stay, but Szevikjan is not getting playing time and was not included in the Europa League squad.

Edgar Sevikyan moved to Lokomotiv Moscow from Hungarian club Ferencvaros on loan. The transfer was announced by the Moscow club on September 6. The agreement with the 23-year-old midfielder is valid until the end of the 2024/2025 season and includes a purchase option. Sevikyan has participated in 12 matches for Lokomotiv in all tournaments this season, providing three assists.
