Atlético Madrid's pursuit of 26-year-old Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović depends on the departure of Alexander Sørloth, for whom the club is seeking a transfer fee of around €40 million. The Norwegian forward is open to a move to the Turkish league for a lucrative contract. Should Sørloth be sold, Atlético would then attempt to sign Vlahović, who is a free agent and also said to be of interest to Beşiktaş. The Serbian international has 41 caps and 16 goals for his country and his current market value is €35.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Reports in July 2026 mentioned a signing fee offer from Beşiktaş of around €10 million.
