Dudu leaving Cruzeiro?
ESPN BR reports on the current uncertainty regarding Dudu's future at Cruzeiro, which is attributed to internal issues within the club. The management is reportedly displeased with Dudu's behavior off the field, leading to his recent exclusion from a match by coach Leonardo Jardim, who cited 'internal reasons' for this decision. Despite these challenges, Dudu is said to be unwilling to forfeit any of his contractual rights, and a meeting is anticipated to discuss the possibility of his departure. If Cruzeiro opts for a unilateral termination, it could incur a substantial penalty fee, given that Dudu's contract is valid until the end of 2027, with a monthly salary of R$ 2 million. Pedro Lourenço, the owner of Cruzeiro's SAF, reportedly suggested Dudu's potential exit through a hand gesture, although there have been no official transfer talks or interested clubs reported as of yet.
Pedro Lourenço, the owner of SAF do Cruzeiro, indicated that Dudu is likely to leave the club following recent controversies. Dudu was excluded from the match against Vasco by decision of coach Leonardo Jardim, after criticizing the team's performance and questioning his status as a reserve player. Dudu expressed his dissatisfaction with being benched and hinted at a desire to reclaim his starting position or move elsewhere if not possible.
