Il Tempo reports that Roma has initiated contact with Aston Villa regarding forward Donyell Malen. The deal is being structured as a loan with an option to buy.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Roma's sporting director, Frederic Massara, is attempting to sign Donyell Malen from Aston Villa. The player has also been proposed to Juventus, and Roma is not the only club interested in him. Malen has 49 caps and 13 goals for the Netherlands and has scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist in 21 appearances in the current Premier League season.
