Turkish international goalkeeper Doğan Alemdar, aged 22, has departed Rennes to join İstanbul Başakşehir, making the move alongside his teammate Bertuğ Yildirim. Stade Rennais F.C. announced in a statement that the transfer fee for the goalkeeper was €1.2 million. The move takes Alemdar to the club that finished fifth in the Turkish championship last season, where he will attempt to relaunch his career in the Süper Lig. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at €1.5 million. The player had also been linked with moves to Göztepe and Trabzonspor.
