Getafe has opened negotiations to extend the contract of their 33-year-old Togolese centre-back, Djené Dakonam, for one more season until 2027. His current contract ends in June 2026. Djené Dakonam is not against this proposal but wishes to wait until the end of the season before making his decision. The defender joined the club in July 2017, has 89 caps for Togo, and has made 13 appearances in LaLiga this season. His current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
