Dion Lopy Transfer from Almería to Nice
Almería has turned down two bids from Nice for Dion Lopy, a 23-year-old defensive midfielder from Senegal, as they view him as a crucial part of their plans for the upcoming season. The club indicated that Lopy is not available for transfer unless they receive an irresistible offer, which they defined as one exceeding 20 million euros. Almería's financial position is strong, having already raised 50 million euros from previous transfers, meaning they are not under pressure to sell. Everton, a Premier League team, also made an offer for Lopy, which Almería rejected. The club reiterated Lopy's significance to their new project in the second division and, with his contract extending until 2029, they expressed their determination to retain him unless a considerably high offer is made. Transfermarkt estimates the player's current market value at €6 million.
