According to Marca and local outlet La Provincia, Dinko Horkaš has transferred from Las Palmas to Al Wasl from the United Arab Emirates for 4.5 million euros. Neither Las Palmas nor Al Wasl has reported the transfer yet. Two weeks ago, Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez said the club had received an offer from the United Arab Emirates for four million euros and that Dinko Horkaš could leave for five million and 50% of the amount from a future transfer. Media had reported in recent days that negotiations were ongoing because Horkaš requested to leave. Horkaš stated that the offer from the UAE would change his life.

Dinko Horkaš, a 27-year-old Croatian, is transferring from Las Palmas to Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates, following his strong performances in the Spanish second division. Horkaš is leaving for a fee of 5 million euros and this transfer was the reason he was on the bench for the first two matches of the season in Segunda. During the summer, other clubs including Sevilla, Celtic, Torino, Olympiacos, and Levante had also shown interest in the Croatian goalkeeper. Horkaš joined Las Palmas in July 2024 with a contract that was set to expire in June 2028, and he has one cap for the Croatia U21 team.
