Dinko Horkaš, a 27-year-old Croatian, is transferring from Las Palmas to Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates, following his strong performances in the Spanish second division. Horkaš is leaving for a fee of 5 million euros and this transfer was the reason he was on the bench for the first two matches of the season in Segunda. During the summer, other clubs including Sevilla, Celtic, Torino, Olympiacos, and Levante had also shown interest in the Croatian goalkeeper. Horkaš joined Las Palmas in July 2024 with a contract that was set to expire in June 2028, and he has one cap for the Croatia U21 team.
