Independiente is seeking to arrange a loan with a fee for 22-year-old Argentinian winger Diego Tarzia, who is not considered in coach Gustavo Quinteros's plans. While there are no advanced negotiations for his departure, San Lorenzo is the main candidate to sign him, and a move to the club is the player's preference. Other clubs, including Unión de Santa Fe and Gimnasia de Mendoza, also showed interest in the forward. San Lorenzo will only be able to make new signings official after FIFA registers the funds the club recently transferred to lift its 14 bans. Tarzia joined the club in January 2024 and his contract runs until December 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.20m.
