An agreement in principle has been reached for the transfer of Brighton defender Diego Coppola, according to Tuttomercato. The deal is a loan with an obligation to buy set at 12 million euros. Its formalization is pending outgoing transfers from Lazio due to their market constraints.

According to today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Diego Coppola of Brighton is being considered by a Roman club, and there are more concrete negotiations to reinforce the central defence.

Tuttomercato reports that Lazio's sporting director considers Diego Coppola a primary target and is attempting to negotiate a loan deal, which is Lazio's preferred arrangement for a potential transfer. Diego Coppola is valued at 11 million euros.

Gennaro Gattuso has indicated that Diego Coppola is a target for Lazio. Coppola, a defender born in 2003, was formerly of Verona, was recently on loan at Paris FC and is owned by Brighton.
