Diadie Samassékou is being considered for a return to RB Salzburg following the expiration of his contract with TSG Hoffenheim. Reports from 'Sky Sport Austria' suggest that the Austrian club is keen to acquire the 29-year-old Malian on a free transfer. Samassékou, who first joined RB Salzburg from FC Liefering in 2016, had a successful period at the club, securing three Austrian championships and two ÖFB-Cups before transferring to Hoffenheim in 2019 for a record fee of 12.5 million euros.
