Dennis Geiger is close to completing a permanent transfer from Hoffenheim to NEC, where he will be reunited with trainer Dick Schreuder. The 28-year-old German midfielder has traveled to Nijmegen to finalize his transfer and will undergo a medical examination on Friday. A two-season contract is prepared for Geiger, who has not played since May 17 due to an injury which is not yet healed.
