Burnley are pursuing former Sunderland left-back Dennis Cirkin, a 24-year-old Latvian. Newly-promoted German Bundesliga side Schalke are also reportedly interested in the free agent this summer. The former Tottenham Hotspur youth player is available after his contract on Wearside expired. Cirkin, who has yet to be capped by Latvia, has a market value of €6.00m according to Transfermarkt.
