Edward Iordănescu, during his time as coach of Legia Warszawa, personally spoke with Denis Drăguș about a potential move to the club. The player confirmed in an interview with Romanian media that the former Legia coach, who was dismissed in late October, had proposed the transfer. Drăguș explained that he was in contact with Iordănescu at the beginning of the transfer window while on vacation, but the move was not completed. After an unsuccessful loan at Eyüpspor, the forward is set to return to Trabzonspor before being loaned out again to Gaziantep. The negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage.
