David Raya has acknowledged in an interview for Marca that he would love to play in La Liga before he retires. Raya stated that he would love to try LaLiga and would certainly like to experience the Spanish league, which he thinks is a very competitive league. He added that for now, he is very happy where he is, but perhaps in the future, he could play for a Spanish club. Raya said that as he is Spanish, he would love to play there.

There are strong links with Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia, and he surely wouldn't be joining Arsenal just to sit on the bench. Though most Arsenal fans wouldn't want to see David Raya leave, if the Garcia links are accurate, this is something Arsenal would consider.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hinted that David Raya's position as goalkeeper is under threat after their Champions League exit against PSG. Arteta's comments suggest that Arsenal might look for a new goalkeeper to compete with or replace Raya, although no specific club or transfer details were mentioned.
