Daouda Weidmann has been acquired by FC Twente from RKC Waalwijk. The 22-year-old French midfielder has committed to a contract running until mid-2030. Weidmann conveyed his happiness and pride in joining FC Twente, which he considers a major club in the Eredivisie. Having been part of the youth systems at Paris FC and Paris Saint-Germain, he transitioned to Torino's youth academy in the summer of 2022. After spending a year in Italy, he moved to RKC Waalwijk in the summer of 2023. Now, he is enthusiastic about the opportunity to demonstrate his talent to the FC Twente fans. As reported by Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €300k. FC Groningen had also shown interest in acquiring the midfielder.
