Columbus Crew are interested in Aberdeen's American-Italian midfielder Dante Polvara, whose contract expires in the summer. Another MLS team, St Louis City, is also seeking to sign the 25-year-old. It is reported that St Louis City hopes to agree on a six-figure fee to finalize the transfer this month. Polvara's preference is to return to America for family reasons, despite Aberdeen having made a significant offer to extend his deal and rivals Hibs also having made an offer. Polvara joined Aberdeen in January 2022. In the current season, he has made 18 appearances and scored one goal in the Scottish Premiership. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €400,000.
