Arouca is negotiating with Flamengo for a loan with an option to buy for Daniel Sales. The Brazilian press reported on the pursuit of the player. Sales is a 20-year-old Brazilian fullback who is capable of playing on both flanks. He debuted for Flamengo's first team in 2024 and has made four appearances this calendar year, providing one assist. He has also played in 20 matches for the club's U-20 team, where he scored one goal and provided five assists. Prior to his time at Flamengo, where he arrived in January 2023, Sales had youth spells at Cruzeiro of Rio Grande do Sul and Ibrachina of São Paulo. His contract with the Brazilian club runs until the end of 2028. Porto has also been linked with the player.
