Dani van den Heuvel signed a two-year contract with Club Brugge in August 2024 which expires at the end of June 2026 and does not have an automatic extension option for the club. Both Simon Mignolet and Dani van den Heuvel have contracts that expire in the coming summer. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Club Brugge does not have an option to extend the contract for either goalkeeper, which means negotiations are necessary if the club wants to keep them. Dani van den Heuvel stated in an interview with Voetbal International that he is aiming to stay longer at Brugge and wants to get more minutes at the club.

If Club Brugge fully commits to the 22-year-old Dutch goalkeeper Dani van den Heuvel, his contract will also need to be extended. His current deal expires on June 30, 2026. The Netherlands U21 international, who has two caps, joined the club in August 2024 and has made three league appearances this season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €200k.
