Dani Olmo Transfer from FC Barcelona to Newcastle United
According to Spanish outlet E-Noticies, Newcastle United are planning a club-record €90m offer for 27-year-old Spanish international Dani Olmo. The outlet suggests there is a complete certainty that the attacking midfielder will leave Barcelona this summer if a good offer is made. Olmo's potential departure is linked to his role under manager Hansi Flick, where he is mainly used as a substitute, having started just once in LaLiga this season after making only 13 league starts in the previous campaign. While Olmo wishes to succeed at Barcelona, he would reportedly be willing to leave in the coming months if he cannot become a regular starter. This situation has surprised sources close to the club's president, Joan Laporta, who had expected Olmo to be a pivotal figure in the team. Olmo's contract at Barcelona runs until 2030, and his market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €60m. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have also been recently linked with the player.
