Daiki Hashioka Transfer from Slavia Praha to Borussia Mönchengladbach
Following an injury to Yukhym Konoplia, Borussia Mönchengladbach have moved to sign Daiki Hashioka. Konoplia suffered a medial ligament tear in a friendly last Saturday and will be out for at least two months. The 27-year-old Japanese right-back is scheduled for a medical examination in the Lower Rhine region on Thursday. The proposed deal is a one-year loan from Slavia Prague with an included option to buy. Hashioka joined Slavia Prague in July 2025, and his contract there runs until 2029. He has 12 caps for Japan and previously played for Luton Town in the Premier League. Hashioka is expected to sign his contract after a successful medical and join the team's training camp in Rottach-Egern by Sunday. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
