Dutch right-back Daijiro Chirino, 24, has been identified by Carlos Corberán as the primary target to reinforce the right-back position at Valencia. However, Almería is demanding a transfer fee that aligns with the player's value. The two clubs have not yet reached an agreement, and negotiations are currently ongoing. Chirino joined Almería in July 2025 and his contract runs until June 2030. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €1.50m. He has two caps for the Netherlands U18 team.
