Red Bull Salzburg are considering a transfer for Christian Früchtl. Initial talks are reported to have already taken place between the club and the 26-year-old German player. Früchtl is currently a backup goalkeeper at Lecce and has made no league appearances in the 2025/26 season. He is one of several options being evaluated for the number two position behind Christian Zawieschitzky. The goalkeeper joined Lecce in July 2024 and his contract is valid until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m.
