According to Fanatik, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek and Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan have begun the negotiation process for Christ Inao Oulai. In the most recent meeting, the difference in the transfer fee reportedly decreased to 5 million Euro. Galatasaray's offer is 30 million Euro plus the transfer rights for Ahmed Kutucu, with a portion of the 30 million Euro being bonuses prepared under easily achievable conditions. Sources close to both clubs state that an agreement is very close to being reached on Monday.

Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan has confirmed that transfer talks are taking place for Christ Inao Oulai. Dogan said that an offer was received from Galatasaray. It is claimed that Galatasaray offered €20m, but this bid has not been sufficient for Trabzonspor to agree to a sale. Trabzonspor want at least €50m, which president Ertugrul Dogan confirmed, stating that the club's expectation is above €40m.

Oulaï joined Trabzonspor in August 2025 for a €5.5 million fee, and his contract is valid until June 2030. Other clubs that have recently been linked with the player are Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Manchester United.
