Celtic are interested in Augsburg's 24-year-old French centre-back Chrislain Matsima, and more additions are expected at the club. Celtic have already made four signings in the summer transfer window, focusing on their attack, which included striker Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt and Camilo Durand from Qarabag. Matsima joined the German club in July 2025 and has a contract until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €22.00m. Several clubs, including Crystal Palace, have also recently been linked with the defender.
