During this transfer window, Wolfsburg has had several bids for the player rejected by Toulouse. One of these was reportedly an €18 million offer made in January 2026, while the asking price is at least €25 million. If Rennes receive a potential record fee for Jacquet, they would be in a financial position to meet Toulouse's valuation of Cresswell. Cresswell is an England U21 international with 26 caps. He joined the French club from Leeds United in July 2024 for a fee of €4.5 million and has a contract that lasts until 2028.
