Birmingham City's Spanish winger Carlos Vicente has indicated that a future return to his boyhood club, Real Zaragoza, is a prospect he finds exciting. The 27-year-old, who came through Zaragoza's youth system before leaving in 2020, joined Birmingham from La Liga team Deportivo Alaves in the January window and is under contract until 2029. Speaking to La Otra Grada, Vicente said he would love to play again for the team he considers the club of his life, noting that his family is from the city and his friends are fans of the team. He added that returning would be like completing a cycle and that he has never concealed how happy he would be to play there. The player, who had also been linked with Ajax, has a current market value of €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
