During the summer, Torino was one of several clubs interested in 23-year-old Bryant Nieling. Venezia and German club Wolfsburg also approached Modena for the Dutch centre-back. However, both the club and Nieling decided not to pursue any transfer. Modena's directors, Nereo Bonato and Andrea Catellani, maintained their intention not to open negotiations, considering Nieling a fundamental player for the team. The player also confirmed that he had spoken with the club during the transfer window and that his intention was to continue at Modena, expressing his happiness at having stayed. Nieling, who joined Modena in July 2025, has a contract with the club until June 2028 and a current market value of €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
