Bruno Martins Indi Transfer from AZ to Sparta Rotterdam
Telegraaf.nl has reported that Bruno Martins Indi is returning to Sparta after his time at AZ. Following a period at AZ where he also captained the team, Bruno Martins Indi is now set to join Sparta. Gerard Nijkamp, Sparta's technical director, mentioned that the club was in search of a left-footed central defender to strengthen their squad after Mike Eerdhuijzen moved to FC Utrecht. He noted that Bruno has proven himself at a top level and is expected to share his experience with younger players. Sparta is anticipating at least two successful years with him. With 188 Eredivisie matches to his name, Bruno Martins Indi brings significant experience to the team, having played for clubs such as Feyenoord, FC Porto, and Stoke City, and earning 36 caps for the Netherlands, including appearances in the 2014 World Cup. This extensive experience makes him an ideal candidate to replace Eerdhuijzen and mentor the younger players at Sparta.
