Despite this, the clubs were unable to reach a final agreement on the deal, and no decision was made, resulting in the transfer failing. Bitello expressed that he was happy to have stayed at Dynamo. On 11 September, the Brazilian extended his contract with the club until 2031, with his previous agreement having been set to expire in the summer of 2028.
