Beto is again being linked with Leeds United. The club was first linked with the player last summer, but Everton stopped any attempts because they could not afford to lose two strikers at the same time after it became clear Calvert-Lewin would be leaving as a free agent. Approximately 12 months later, a move is once again a possibility. According to TEAMtalk’s transfer correspondent, Fraser Fletcher, Beto’s agent is considering other options for a possible move elsewhere, and it is not certain where he will be playing next season.

Leeds United are reportedly planning to bid for Beto during the summer transfer window. The club believes that Beto would integrate well into their team and are aiming for a strategic move to acquire the Everton striker. The Whites are prepared to invest over £100 million in new players this summer, with £30 million specifically earmarked for a new striker, including potentially Beto. According to sources, Leeds might have a chance of success in this endeavor, as Everton could be open to selling Beto if the price is right. The 27-year-old striker, a Guinea-Bissau international who transferred to Everton from Udinese for £25.75 million, has tallied 14 goals and provided two assists in 68 matches for the Toffees. While Beto's contract with Everton extends until the summer of 2027, the Merseyside club might consider selling him for an appropriate offer.
