Milan has begun the process of signing Lille goalkeeper Berke Özer, a 25-year-old Turkish international who is also of interest to Manchester City. Özer transferred to the French club from Eyüpspor at the start of the summer. The Italian team's effort to sign a new goalkeeper is dependent on not reaching a new contract agreement with Mike Maignan. Robin Risser is also a potential candidate for the position. Özer has two caps for Türkiye and a contract that runs until June 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €10.00m. He has made 14 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.
