Benjamin Šeško Transfer from RB Leipzig to Real Madrid
Team Talk reports on Real Madrid's decision to turn down the offer of Benjamin Sesko from Red Bull's Head of Global Soccer, Jurgen Klopp. Benjamin Sesko was offered to Real Madrid by Jurgen Klopp, Red Bull's Head of Global Soccer. However, Real Madrid turned down the offer, stating that Sesko is not the profile they are looking for. They are not willing to pay the £60 million fee that Sesko would cost.
RB Leipzig reportedly has a verbal agreement in place that would allow Benjamin Sesko to leave the club in the summer for 70 million Euros. However, the club is hoping for a bidding war that could potentially increase the price to 100 million Euros. Real Madrid is among the clubs showing interest in Sesko. Despite having a challenging start to the season, Sesko has attracted significant attention from top European clubs, such as FC Bayern, AC Milan, FC Chelsea, and FC Arsenal, due to his impressive performance of scoring six goals in eight Bundesliga matches. The absence of a release clause in Sesko's contract, which is valid until 2029, provides Leipzig with the flexibility to negotiate freely, thereby increasing the chances of securing a profitable transfer deal.
