Middlesbrough have also made enquiries regarding a move for the player, who was acquired by Southampton for £7m in 2024. The 27-year-old recently finished a season with Derby County, scoring seven Championship goals, which followed a period at Sheffield United in 2024/25 where he scored four times in 17 games.
