Bartosz Mrozek is close to leaving Lech Poznań to join Udinese Calcio. The 26-year-old former Polish youth international had informed his club's management several weeks prior that he desired a new professional opportunity. In response, Lech Poznań signed Mateusz Lis and allowed Mrozek to focus on finding a new employer. It is reported that Udinese, coached by Kosta Runjaic, is seeking a loan deal for the goalkeeper, as the Italian club has been looking for some time for a capable competitor for their current number one, Maduka Okoye. Ongoing talks between the clubs are focused on making the purchase clause a mandatory obligation rather than a non-binding option. Mrozek, who joined Lech Poznan in July 2016, has a contract with the club until June 2028 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €3.00m. Several other clubs, including Göztepe, Gaziantep F.K., Los Angeles FC, and LA Galaxy, have also been recently reported as being interested in the goalkeeper.
