Mauro Icardi, a 33-year-old Argentine centre-forward, has been a free agent since his contract with Galatasaray ended on June 30. During the summer, Udinese evaluated his profile, but no agreement was reached. Fiorentina also considered the forward around the same time. Lazio was another club that showed interest, reportedly proposing a two-year contract worth a total of three million dollars, though that deal did not materialize either. Icardi has 8 caps and 1 goal for Argentina and his current market value is €3.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
